LiebenLogistics is proud to have been associated with the KIP project since 2004.
Partners involved in KIP are Pick n Pay, South African National Parks, the Departments of Environmental Affairs and Basic Education.
KIP hosts children from previously disadvantaged backgrounds in national parks, which is a new experience for most of them.
In partnership with Pick n Pay, LiebenLogistics provides drivers, transport, diesel and maintenance, and the busses used to transport the children. A LiebenLogistics project manager regularly visits the parks while the children are taking part in the programme.
The programme benefits 50 learners and two teachers per school from 10 schools surrounding each of the 10 selected parks.
5000 learners are taken through this process each year, with a total of 51 310 children having already benefited from the programme.
